Club Background & Challenge
Gardens Tennis is a central hub for tennis in Darwin, featuring 12 hard courts and the leading public tennis facility in the Northern Territory. Located near the Darwin CBD, it serves players from grassroots to competitive levels and regularly hosts local competitions and events. However, the facility’s aging lighting system no longer met the needs of the club or its players. Outdated fixtures caused uneven illumination, poor visibility during night play, and increasing maintenance issues. These challenges impacted both playing conditions and operations, prompting the need for a modern lighting upgrade meeting Australian standards.
Solution & Implementation
Jasstech was engaged to deliver a full LED sports lighting upgrade across the Gardens Tennis courts. Leveraging our experience in designing and implementing high-performance lighting systems, we installed energy-efficient LED luminaires tailored to the club’s usage profile.
