Sports PRO – New Features
The Sports PRO has undergone some significant advancements in the last 12-months:
- Introduction of new drivers from Inventronics to enhance system performance
- Quick-Connect means it is one of the simplest and fastest luminaires to install
- New marine-grade coating as standard on all fixtures
- Improved LED packages across the entire PRO series

Recent Projects
This was a very satisfying project to be a part of for the team at Jasstech. The previous lighting was, well…. less than optimal. With a grant from the Queensland government, the club was able to update their lighting to Jasstech’s Sports MAX. We are told the better lighting means there’s no excuses for bad shots and air-swings.

Rockhampton Brothers (Kele Park) is an iconic club. It’s located on the tropic of Capricorn, so the weather can be extreme at times. It’s also located right next to the airport.
Jasstech delivered over 200Lux, with uniformities >0.7/>0.5, and was able to achieve a CASA compliant outcome. The system uses Jasstech’s LiSco lighting controls to deliver the lighting scenes required for the various levels of play, as well as for bookings.
Yet another difficult project that we successfully delivered. It seems like Jasstech is the ‘go-to’ provider when others walk away. A Rugby League field in a cricket field envelope. The poles had to be low, and the climate is challenging for other lighting suppliers.
Perhaps it’s the fact that Jasstech designs our products for Australian conditions and we are able to deliver long-lasting, reliable lighting solutions that are easy to install and cost-effective to maintain.

Well, this is one of the most challenging projects that we have seen in our 15-years of business. The location of poles, heights of poles and the Darwin climate – it all made for a difficult, but worthwhile, project to be involved in.
The requirements were dictated by consultants, and exceeded the requirements of AS2560.2 (2021) and AS4282 (2023)
Jasstech delivered as promised. In fact, Gardens Tennis Club engaged us for the now completed Stages 2&3. But, don’t take it from us – listen to what the club has to say.

Pine Central is the largest junior club in southeast Queensland. Their fields are used for 10-months of the year and so lighting is essential for them.
The poles on site are limited in their capacity, due to poor original design and lack of data available from the pole manufacturer. Jasstech’s fittings are lightweight and have a small sail area, making them ideal for poles that are sometimes ‘over-loaded’. We always suggest independent engineer certification for existing infrastructure, to avoid risk.

The surrounds are dark. The poles are low and a long way from the field. Jasstech delivered an A2-L2 compliant design with extremely high uniformities on the field. Jasstech suggested that the design and finished job were both independently audited.
